Over 5500 meters at its peak it is the most southern mountain in the northern hemisphere. A great mix on a sunny day, talk about great spring skiing ;)

4506 meters, that's were the gondola ends. A little higer than the mountains in Vermont ;) BTW, getting tickets to go up was a trip, they said they were sold out for the day, but having read a lot about persistence in China, I told Janice to just keep asking. She was reluctant, but I was adament about giving it a try... well it worked ;) And pretty damn quickly too ;)
